Reply: People like you here, who have their hearts in the right place and are helping to build on freedom technology, like Reticulum or Bitcoin. You are the best proof that people are fundamentally good. I believe in karma, and that all the good I put into this projects will indirectly come back to me/us. Like a boomerang – that’s what motivates me :)

Reply: Having some children doesn't allow you to surrender. And, of course, there are many positive signals around, possibly not in the westerns world. I still have in my minnd three-four kids having fun slipping on a collapsed roof in Gaza.

Reply: Some months back I was quite depressed about this, but these days I take solace in things close to me; my kids, the spring, my family, and the fact that there are signs that it's getting better. Orban lost the election, Russia is losing in Ukraine, Trump is less popular than ever and cannot get out of his dumb Iran war, and so on and so forth. Also, I think most people are fundamentally good, and maybe it's the millennial in me, but I think humanity will eventually pull through.

Reply: Orban objectively lost in Hungary, Russia's 3-day operation is nearing the 5-year mark and is not gaining ground, Trump has "defeated" Iran 8 times according to his speeches but there's no peace agreement because it's impossible for the US to open the strait of Hormuz without occupying the Iranian coastline, and Iran just needs to wait it out. As a result, Trumps poll numbers are waaay down. And - I still think people are fundamentally good. But feel free to bring arguments.

Reply: My cat, the lovely folks I'm dating, and my friends keep me going. Being able to help others out, doing little things here and there for the people in my life. Being surrounded by love and joy keeps me propped up. And more importantly, concrete things that I can look forward to. Spring is here and with it comes flowers, blossoms. Being able to go to parks and trails and see life starting to bloom is so nice and helps clear my mind. I got ahold of a film camera from a thrift store! Grabbing things from the thrift store and refurbishing them myself is a delight! I've refurbed a PDA, an old Kindle, been working on said film camera. Taking photos of cool things around the city is so much fun! 3D printing something brings a boost of happy brain chemicals. Encouraging friends projects, testing out their code or games is so much fun. One of my partners is taking me out dancing in a couple of weeks, and I'm going to a baseball game with a friend ive not seen in years this summer, gonna see Randy Feltface show this fall!

Reply: So far, it's mostly been my local community, by which I mean weird queers who are willing to go to Denny's with me at 2AM after a party and help plant native grasses in abandoned lots. I am a bit of a doomer but at least there's cute people I can waste time with.
